Nestled in the heart of Atlanta's bustling Colony Square, Saints + Council is a refined American restaurant and lounge that masterfully blends fine dining with the conviviality of a vibrant bar scene. This dynamic spot excels at delivering an elevated brunch and dinner experience, where thoughtfully sourced local ingredients meet innovative culinary craftsmanship.
The menu is a treasure trove for food lovers seeking both comfort and creativity. Standout dishes such as the luscious Lemon Miso Salmon and the perfectly tender Ricotta Cavatelli showcase the kitchen’s skill in balancing bold flavors and delicate textures. For those craving something heartier, the Crispy Chicken Dutch and Seared Black Cod offer irresistible layers of taste and refinement. Sweet finales like the indulgent Cast Iron Strawberry Shortcake, Caramelized Banana Bread Puddin’, and the decadently rich Bick's Famous Peanut Butter Pie ensure every meal ends on a sublime note.
Cocktail enthusiasts will find themselves spoiled for choice. The bar’s artisan cocktails are impeccably crafted, with inventive creations like the smoky, spicy Dante’s Revenge and the complex Day of Reckoning Rye delivering bold yet balanced experiences. Brunch brings its own spirited delights, including the refreshing Saint Cecilia Mimosa with hints of grapefruit and bergamot, and the savory, uniquely textured Elote Maria featuring grilled corn and mezcal. Each sip perfectly complements the thoughtfully prepared dishes.
Atmospherically, Saints + Council charms with a posh, yet welcoming lounge vibe. Guests often remark on the elevated ambiance punctuated by tasteful decor and occasional live violin performances that add a graceful soundtrack to their dining. The attentive and knowledgeable staff enhances the experience, ensuring every visit feels special and seamless—whether it's an intimate dinner or a lively family brunch gathering.
Real guest feedback reveals the genuine warmth and high standards this venue upholds. Lisa Anne was captivated by the clever branding and praised the wedge yucca fries as a delicious highlight, despite finding the sweet cornbread not to her liking. Branden Ryan was impressed by the extensive yet carefully curated menu and the freshness of local ingredients, which left his group overwhelmingly satisfied. Family outings are no less enjoyable, as Katherine Lezama noted the ease of reservations, pleasant pricing, and excellent service—even if, like many, she found the restaurant a little elusive within the Colony Square complex. For larger celebrations, Q Tyson’s glowing recount of a birthday brunch exemplifies Saints + Council’s capability to handle big parties with grace, delivering fresh, flavorful dishes at great value.
In short, Saints + Council is a delight for those craving a sophisticated American dining experience with a genuine soul. Whether you're savoring the perfect espresso martini paired with the creamy ricotta cavatelli or gathering with friends over expertly crafted cocktails and shareable plates, this is a destination that entices the senses and elevates every occasion.
This place was pretty cool. Love the Saints, they give you post cards with "Saints & Council" very clever. Atmosphere is posh, all the food I had was good except the cornbread. It was overcooked and got really hard, couldn't eat it. It was also sweet, if you like that. The Chardonnay was excellent I was excited about the wedge yucca fries, did not disappoint. Very good .
Came in with a reservation for brunch with the family. Everyone got an array of drinks and dishes and everything was great! Not ridiculously priced either and good service! The most “difficult” part was finding it within colony square. Also make sure to take your parking ticket for validation!
Came in on a whim for dinner without a reservation and we were all blown away! We were a party of 4 and got seated right away. Everything on the menu looked amazing, and everything that we did order (with a little help from our awesome server, Ashley) was outstanding. Loved that the ingredients are sourced locally and that the menu is expansive but also high quality. Pork belly shareable was one of the best I’ve had - no excess fatty pieces, glazed to perfection, with the perfect polenta and collards accompaniments. Braised short rib was so tender, chimichurri steak had tones of flavor, salmon was amazing. To top it all off, we tried the peanut butter pie which was to die for! So light and smooth! We really want to thank Ashley for being an attentive, patient, and great server!
All around excellent! We celebrated a friend’s birthday during Sunday brunch. Our server handled at group of 15 alone with ease and attentiveness. She explained each family style dish we received, and everything was exactly how she described. Everything was soooo delicious and fresh. And for the price to only be $35 per person, I was in complete awe at all the food we received. I cannot wait to go back!
Great brunch last weekend with our group there for the first time! Fantastic ambiance & lovely to be greeted by the wonderful sounds of a violinist. The drinks were yummy, I had the hot chocolate and got it with Baileys on the side but waited a while for a spoon. The manager was so accommodating when I brought this up to him. For my appetizer, I got the biscuit with jam which was so tasty. Most of my group for their main chose the apple crumble pancakes which they all enjoyed. I chose the delicious French Toast Crunch as my main, the cornflakes gave it a great texture plus berries! I also had a pineapple mimosa which I enjoyed too. Can't wait to return for dinner & lunch. Such a lovely atmosphere and great setting for pictures by the fireplace and coverall. And be mindful of parking if 2 hour limit spot, nice that they validate 2 hours but we were there for a while, I paid $18.
So I'm not the trendy restaurant person but I have to admit seeing S+C outdoor patio consistently packed sparked a gastro curiosity in me. Finally an opportunity presented itself, so here I go.... Atmosphere is great for socializing and reconnecting. Whether its drinks or food, roundup your adult (21+yr) family and friends and go. Food is good with plentiful portion sizes. Located on Colony Square, underground parking isn't cheap. Fortunately S+C does validate up to 2hrs. Service staff members are awesome and attentive. Friday and Saturday nights I would recommend calling ahead to check availability. Of course they are able to accommodate any size party indoor, outdoor and even at the bar. If you're a large group 6+ call ahead. I gave the food rating 4star because the duck was a little overcooked (dry) but everything else was good. Pricing is in line with surrounding dinning establishments (except the food hall).
I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit here. The service was excellent! Our waiter did a great job of describing all of the food and drink options and he was very attentive. The baked crab dip, bruschetta, and fried green tomatoes were all excellent. The Wild Caught Branzino was good but a little bland for my tastebuds. One of the people in my party had the braised short ribs and said it was excellent, so I’ll probably try that next time.
